Where and when were you born?

Victoria Australia, 3rd November 1977

What is your profession?

Business Owner in London UK

Were you involved in sports or fitness prior to bodybuilding/figure and how did you get started with weight training?

I was always involved in sports. Athletics, running, horse riding, mountain bike riding, martial arts. When study and career in fashion took over i found i had less time for sports and decided to try the gym. I found it time efficient and i really enjoyed pushing myself and seeing a gain in muscle. I found i gained muscle very easily.

Was it a goal for you to compete in figure competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body?

It was something that progressed with my training.
In March 06 i met a couple Brian and Michele Hodous. Originally from the U.S. Brian and Michelle had both previously competed, and continued their lifestyle of clean food and dedicated training. We got along and with their encouragement and support, i adopted their training programme and went on to win my first show 5 months later.

Can you give me your competition history?

2006 BNBF Central, St Albans UK Womens physique - 1st

2006 WABBA body spectacular, womens trained fugure under 30 -1st pl

2006 Muscle Mania Hollywood - womens physique - 3rd place

2007 Fame UK - muscle model - 1st place
2007 WFF Universe - Womens super body under 30 - 1st and overall

2007 NABBA World finals - womens figure class 1 - 2nd place

Which contest has been your biggest success; which has
had the most meaning to you?

I feel that that the NABBA World finals was, even though placing second, was a great experience for me. I had known of Malika Zitouni (who won) and held her with high regard. To find myself competing next to her was very exciting. This experience was good for my confidence and made me aware of just how important stage presence and preparation is.

Please tell me something about your training routine (ie: how many days per week / training split /cardio, etc.)

I train 6 days a week
Back / Chest and triceps / Legs / shoulders and biceps.
I do a cardio workout every morning and when preparing for a show, another in the evening.

What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don't like so much?

Favoutite - all of it. learn to love it all.

Which body part is your best in your opinion?

my legs. for the WFF and NABBA i hd to reduce my leg workouts significantly. This was kind of disappointing as i had come to love my naturally muscular legs and had enjoyed the increase in strength i had achieved.

What do you enjoy about training for competition....what do you enjoy about the 'off season'?

Its a very mental process. When you lock in the competition date you become very very focused and also very organized. Routine is very important on a day to day level. I enjoy seeing the transformation. The off season is a good opportunity to try new things in your workout. After a show, to stay motivated and active i try a new sport, martial arts and even dance lessons. Its important to have a break from the gym.

Please describe a typical day in your life.

Coffee, cardio workout - walking or cycling in the park. Breakfast, prepare meals for the day. Work.work. work..... Gym workout in the evening, eat, sleep......repeat. ? ??

Please tell me about what you do when you don't work out (hobbies, what do you do to relax?, etc.) shopping, eating out, travel, photograpy, i live in central London...there is always something going on.

What do you enjoy most about the bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle?

I enjoy being fit and healthy.I find the bodybuilding lifestyle is a very positive influence in life. i love food, especially good food. I like feeling and looking strong but also enjoy relaxing and lowering the intensity of workouts from time to time.

Tell me something interesting about yourself, something people may be surprised to hear ?

I couldn't possibly do that. I keep my cards close to my heart.

What are your competition goals or personal future goals?
