Why did you started with bodybuilding ?

I started with fitness 5 1/2 years ago, just because I like to do a sport

and I wanted to do something. Besides that I wanted to change my body just

like all woman, to loose fat and get a little bit musscle.

I started immediatly with 6 days training a week and a diet also.I get addicted.

I had to go, I had to do my training for 100%.I was growing very fast so my

coach told me that I can do a competition, first I thought: "No way!", but after

3 months I was thinking about that and I thought: "O, why not?" I can try.

So I was prepearing for the bodyfitness class, but on the day of the

competition they put me in the bodybuilding class, because of my physic,

I had to much muscles for the bodyfitness class.

It was a very  good competition for me(No. 1 and the overall title),

I did 4 months later  another competition, also No 1.Two weeks later there was the Dutch

Championship, so I thought; "okay, I can hold on to my diet and I can also do

that!" and it was true.I won., I was the new Dutch champ of the  bodybuilding class.

The NBBF (the Dutch IFBB) ask me to go with them to do the European Championship in Portugal,

so I desided to go.Everything happened in 7 months, so it was very quick en I was also

surprised. Before I can immagine I was in the running doing international

competitions.I never thought about doing that and now Iám still in the bodybuilding world

Other sports before bodybuilding?

Gymnastik; selection and upper class. Also doing competitions.I started when

I was 3 years, but most of the time playing, and when I get 6 years old it

became seriously till the age of 16 years.

Favorite food for weight reduction:

rice, huttekase, chicken, apples, everything that's sweet. Most of the time

I like everything, because I ám hungry all the time.

Favorite food after competition:

drop(dutch sweety's), bread with cheese

Favorite aerobic activity:

tae-bo, bodypump

Favorite nutrition supplements:

Liquid amino, HMB, anti-oxidants, multi-vitamines,glutamine,

glucosamine,BCAA's and more, but that's my secret.I don't mean

anabolic things or something related to that...

If you could only do one exercise, which on would you choose? My legs,

because they are very importent for me, for a woman and very

difficult to get it in a perfect way....at most my bottum is importent...

It's the most heavy exercise, but the best and after that I feel

great...and.... no pain, no gain!!!

Strongest muscles:

>breast, back and legs

Muscles that you like exercising:

everything!!!

How many calories do you take daily?

A difficult question for me.

off-season I don't now, I eat a lot, between 2800Kcal and 3600 Kcal> For competition it's also different, it depence...on my weight, how much fat. I have, how my body looks like.

Favorite celebrity?

A wedding... I think.....

If you won 1 million $$$, what would you buy?

I would buy a ticket to a place somewher where it's hot and quiet.

A place where I can find peace ansn silence.Because I'am always  bussy (work, training, housekeeping etc)a

nd I haven't be on vacantion for 5 years now.Because the bodybuilding sport eats all my money, the supplements are

so expensive. And then I wan't to buy a house on a place where  it's also quiet

and Iám gonna build a sportcenter where I can coach atletes.

What would you change in sport if you could?

higher and more control of doping and that kind off stuff in every

country, so it will be a honest competition. They have to control the atletes

during the whole year, not only at the competition.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

I like to do nothing inmy spare time!!!relaxe.Just being lazy.I like to do

the things that is on my mind at that moment.Sometimes shopping, doing

something with one of my friends, to go out for dinner. It depends on how I

feel that day.But most of the time I have to do things in my house. I have a full-time job(with several shifts) and my training is 6 times a  week, 2 hours a day, I have no housekeeper(it would be nice)so I have to do that all by myself, I have to make my food for the next day.So when I have a day off...Iám just doing what I like to do.

Who is your favorite woman bodybuilder?

Our dutch bodybuildster off-course, Miss.Olympia Juliette Bergman. Here symnetry is almost perfect and it's complete.

What is your sport goal?

Getting better on stage every year............

Please describe a typical day in your life?

I get up at 6 o"clock in the morning,go to work at 6.55hr, after I finished

work->17hr,time for training, 20.45hr I come home from training.I making

work->my food/diner for the next day, some housekeeping things, shower.....23hr

bedtime.Because I have different services. I work as a nurse(in a hospital),

every day is different. When I have a late service, I have to do my training before I have to go to my work.

And then I will be home at  00.15.Sometimes I have a night service, also then I have to do my training.

Please tell me something about your daily training routine?

Every day is different.Every day I train 2 groups of muscles.I train every

group off muscle 2 times a week.

How often do you train in a week ?

6 times a week, 2 hours a day.

What are the main differences when you train for a competition and in off season?

When I'am training voor competition I also have to do my

cardiotraining.Off-season Iám not doing that very often, also beceause I

don't like to do it.My training off-season is more heavy weight en less

reps.Beceause I want to grow in my off-season period.

My food is also difference, Off-season I eat when I ám hungry and I eat a lots of calories.

What are your future plans for 2007/2008?

World Championship 2007.My physic has to be better this competition,

that's my goal and the most importent thing to reach that goal in a

natural way!!!!!just like al my competitions!!!!

I like to coach atletes, maybe Iám gonna do that..

Iám gonna do different kind of studies related to my sport.
